Have you ever wondered what it is that you’re supposed to be doing as a Class Representative? Generally, your job is to provide personal contact with your classmates. Your job is to stay in touch! As a Class Rep, you have an excuse to e-mail, call and visit anybody in your class just to say “hi”. You can do more, of course, by encouraging your classmates to attend Thacher gatherings and Alumni Day and Reunion. You can collect Class Notes for the website and Thacher magazine. You can also help your School out by encouraging class participation in the Alumni Fund. However, the main thing is to make contact each year, first just to socialize.
